The Academy of Procurement is the training arm of Comprara, a procurement consultancy. Our courses are written and taught by practitioners who run tenders, negotiate contracts and manage categories for clients, so what we teach is what the job asks for now.

Workshops are built on the 70:20:10 model: pre-work, practice on your own categories and contracts, and follow-through online after the session.

Every course earns a certificate with CPD hours. An employer, or anyone else, can verify it online at any time.

Built by practitioners
Every workshop and online course is written and taught by people who still do procurement for a living. What you learn is what they use on live work.
Grounded in the real world
You practise on your own categories, contracts and suppliers. Team pilots end with a manager's review of a real piece of work, and Diploma assignments are reviewed by practising procurement consultants, not marked by a multiple-choice test.
We stand behind it
The Diploma, the Advanced Diploma and every course certificate are the Academy's own, issued in our name. Anyone can check a certificate on our public verification page, which shows what was earned and when.
CPD hours you can check
Hours are set under our published CPD policy, owned by our CEO: 7 hours for a training day, and the measured time for an online course. The policy shows how every figure is worked out.
The people behind the Academy
Milan Panchmatia
Milan has over 20 years of experience in consulting and procurement, and has led major contracts and transformation projects across Europe, the United Kingdom and the USA. Over the past decade he has worked in procurement consultancy and data analytics across retail, government and industrial sectors. He is Chief Executive Officer of Comprara and leads the Academy of Procurement.
